The rice makes this a nice thick consistency that will be easy for your baby to swallow and the peas, carrots and apples are all good fruits/veg to use that have plenty of natural sweetness.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen peas,
- 2 carrots,
- 2 tablespoons applesauce,
- 1/2 cup rice
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
Directions:
1. Boil the carrots and peas until tender, then drain.
2. Boil the rice until soft, then drain.
3. Blend rice, carrots and peas in a food processor.
4. Mix together the blended concoction with the apple sauce and yogurt and you are ready to serve.
To Freeze: Spoon finished food into Wean Meister’s Freezer Pods. When food is frozen, remove Pods from tray and store in a resealable plastic freezer bag or freezer container. Label package with contents and date. Use within 1 month. Before serving, let thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
