Beets can be bland, but when you roast them, it’s a whole new game!
Ingredients:
- 3 large fresh beets
- 1 cup water
Method:
- Put beets on a baking sheet and into a preheated oven at 180°C until tender. This will be about 2 hours, then let cool for another 2.
- Peel beets and roughly chop and transfer to a saucepan with water. bring to the boil over a medium heat.
- Transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.
